a guy was walking past a grave n suddenly heard music coming out... he was shocked n ran to fetch the caretaker. the caretaker listened n heard the 41st symphony, the 4oth, the 39th etc played backwards. he stood up n said," nothing to be worried, that's mozart decomposing."

i lov his alla turca n eine kleine nachtmusik ... oh n now playing one of his pieces for piano exam this year, which sounds damn nice on pro recording

Went to watch SSO concert earlier... think it is my 1st SSO concert this year XD

Pieces include:

Mozart Symphony no. 29 in A major
Malher Symphony no. 1 in D major "titan"

Mozart's symphony nothing special abit boring... though understandable it is for chamber orchestra according to programme booklet, so cannot have big orchestra.

Malher's... ... THE BEST TITAN I EVER HEARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Percussion listen liao cannot describe! Duo Timpani... woot

new school buildings gonna built son. 36 million 20 months
1 new academic block, new hall, new canteen, new auditorium, track change to softball n rugby field, demolish 1 boarding complex block n construct one new one...

i think new buildings spoil the image of the school, stick out like sore thumb!!

photos u see are edited as cannot get the real photo... but according to what i saw today, this is the best i can do to show...

new auditorium is between the hall n canteen, hall n canteen retain design, thus that auditorium looks like a TV from far...

Though the thing itself looks cool... got drop off point, foyer according to the teacher. seats 600 ppl, looks like Singapore Conference Hall if it stands by itself...

boarding block looks like the HDB flat the pinnicle @ DUXTON, but smaller... sore thumb also, our boarding complex looks like hotel resort. with this... dunno how they blend...

oh ya academic block gonna link RI junior block to RJ with a bridge.. so far it looks like a bus stop when i saw artist impression...

but still change is good... though i dun look forward seeing the new school look...

Went to Junction 8 to watch Shangxi Jiangzhou Drum Ensemble... part of Capitaland 5th anniversary celebrations...

Watched performance Qianhui n her Sis, they played Rodent's wedding, Long teng hu yue, Rollin Walnuts n Dog Chase Ducks(??? dunno title), The Chat n one piece which i missed....

Percussion is about visual n music, n they did it... maybe visual part too much, looks like circus clown according to my friends who went... but overall rox!! the girl percussionists very huo po XD......

Ate lunch n brought Qian hui n sis to see RI n RJC... lol, i look into RJC... ppl muggin away, i look into RI ppl enjoying themselves... so different the 2 schools... hope our batch can change that muggin culture in RJC next year

Just back from school, after running cum walkin bout total 10< x < 20 laps

he is pro... 8 hours cover about half the distance, 239 laps when i left...

i have stitch at lap 3, recovered and gone on.... but how to compare to him??

Requests received less than 12 months prior to event date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Hsinghai CO concert

Concert @ Esplanade Concert Hall, nearly full house, Circle 3 no ppl, the rest like full... Concert rox. Reached there 930am, stone for 10mins, to collect tag, security veri tight... Used friend's tag to enter coz my section took tag for me liao....

Backstage rox, 3 stories, top floor, connected to loading bay, better than SCH, move like onli <50m i think. Rooms for musicians plush, like mini hotel room, toilet got shower... also got some mini "food court" inside...

Rehearsal quite ok, onli prob is one performer fall sick, cannot come... wah everyone headache, sightread her scores during rehearsal n performance, lucky not much mistakes...

Sigh!! Cannot smuggle digi cam into concert hall, want friend to help take photo, but too many ushers liao, cannot pass anything.... :(

Performance on whole rox, jeremy solo long teng... PRO, n jun ma, again make the same 3 mistakes... always same place, same note, same dunno what liao

Experience playing in Esplanade rox... think Raffles CO combinded concert confirmed in Esplanade next year liao... hope to play long nian xin shi ji, 4 seasons and more..... :P
